YouMoan respects the rights of copyright owners. Every video on YouMoan is made by a third-party producer. If you own the rights to a video shown here and did not authorise it, send us a notice with the form below and we will remove the video from YouMoan.

How removal works

  • Fill in the form with the YouMoan address of each video (it contains /watch/).
  • We review every complete notice and remove the listed videos as quickly as possible.
  • A removed video no longer plays and no longer appears in listings, search or sitemaps on YouMoan.
  • To remove a video from the platform where it was originally published, please also contact that platform.

What a valid notice contains

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) a notice must include: your physical or electronic signature; a description of the copyrighted work; the address of each infringing video on YouMoan; your contact details; a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.

We store your notice to process it and may share it with the producer of the video. See our privacy policy.

Counter-notice

If a video was removed because of a notice and you believe this was a mistake, send a counter-notice to [DMCA EMAIL] with: your name, address and phone number; the address of the removed video; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith that it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your consent to the jurisdiction of the competent court; and your physical or electronic signature.
