Soaking in a wooden bath surrounded by garden rocks and greenery, An Tsujimoto starts with her back to the camera while water runs from a spout beside her. She leans on the edge of the tub and trails one hand across the surface. Drops of water slide over her shoulders and chest as she rests her cheek on her folded arms and looks toward the lens. Her eyes close once she lies back on the wooden deck, and the shots move in on her skin, her collarbone and her hand glistening wet. Warm light comes through the trees, and the bamboo screen behind the bath gives the setting a quiet, traditional feel.
